We are delighted to welcome Weston Hurt, baritone to Fletcher Artist Management‘s roster, where he will be represented worldwide.
This season, he returns to the Seattle Opera as Germont in La Traviata and the New Orleans Opera Association as Valentin in Faust, and makes his debut at the Tulsa Opera as Scarpia in Tosca. He recently made his role and house debut as Scarpia at the Houston Grand Opera and his role debut as Iago in Otello with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras.
Mr. Hurt appears regularly with many North American opera companies including the Seattle Opera, The Dallas Opera, Portland Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, The Atlanta Opera, Michigan Opera Theatre – Detroit Opera House, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, and the Canadian Opera Company. His many roles included the title roles in Rigoletto and Nabucco, Renato in Ballo in Maschera, Ford in Falstaff, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Germont in La traviata, Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor, Frank in Die tote Stadt, and Peter in Hänsel und Gretel.
